The 90% Amide is widely used as thickener, foam stabilizer, emollient agent and solubilizer of essences and oils. It is widely used together with Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate, Sulphonic acid and other sulfated surfactants, because it presents synergy with them, increasing the foam stability and thickening of the system, besides promoting the emolliency characteristic coming the coconut grease family.

The Amide 90% is applied in formulations for shampoos, liquid soaps, bubble baths and detergents. The dosage of Amide 90% in the formulations depends on each formulation, but can vary 1.0 to 8.0% depending on the application.
